- All of my Siamese are sold only after the 3rd month of age, as required by my feline association, the FIFé, to allow the cat to be perfectly socialized. A two-month-old kitten won't get attached any easier - it'll just be more likely to have behavioral problems. DO NOT ask me kittens so young because I won't give them to you.
-All my Siamese are given with their pedigree, specifically Asfe / FIFé and corresponding transcription recognized by the Italian Ministry for environmental policies. So DO NOT ask me for a cat without a pedigree.
-My Siamese are born out of of negative Fiv and Felv tested parents. Furthermore, each kitten is sold with the relative coprological examination to have evidence of the absence of parasites. My cats are also kittens of PRA (eye disease with higher incidence in the Siamese breed) negative parents or of a single carrier. Finally, every year, some cats in the cattery are randomly subjected to the examination for Tritrichomonas Phoetus and Giardia, highly infectious parasites, precisely to avoid their presence in the cattery.
-A necessary condition to have my Siamese is a visit to the cattery: you must come and meet me and my cats in person, regardless of whether you are far or near. First you call me and after a chat in which you explain to me why you would like to have my kitten and introduce yourself, we will make an appointment to visit the cattery. A cat from my cattery is a life partner for you and a member of the family for me: meeting in person is therefore essential for both you and me. Only if we like each other can we talk about the sale of the cat.
-My cats are sold already neutered at 3 and a half months (prepubertal sterilization). If you disagree, don't call, I will NOT give you an unneuterd cat. Surely you will find catteries willing to give you an unneutered kitten, I am not. I give breeding kittens exclusively to small cattery of people I know/respect their breeding program. There are already too many people who mate cats casually just to make a profit, to the detriment of the breed and especially the well-being of the cats: my cats will not serve this purpose. Look for and you will certainly find someone who gives you the unneutered cat on request: I WILL NOT.
-My cats will be sold with a regular contract, to protect me, you and especially the kitten. Of course I will let you read the contract first so that you are free to accept it or not. In addition to what has already been written, the main clause is that, if you can no longer keep the cat, the cat will have to return to ME and if you already have a new owner's name, I will have to approve him and he must sign the adoption contract.
-The price of each of my Siamese is proportional to the money spent to make him/her grow healthy, well socialized, with appropriate food and specific veterinary care. My Siamese are also the result of study of the breed (and constant updating) to have healthy Siamese and as much as possible corresponding to the breed standard. DO NOT ask me for discounts because I know the efforts made and the money spent to breed properly.
