Demosthenes, called Demo or Demino, is my first Siamese cat. Living day by day with him, I irremediably fell in love with Siamese cats, both for their character that leads them to be very present in our daily life, and for their so characteristic appearance.

 

Demino is a blue point male and comes from Francesca Serena's Siamaristocracy cattery in Vinci.

 

Demo is an extremely sweet and affectionate cat who has developed a real addiction towards me. His passions are food (he has an insatiable appetite) and radiators: he sleeps as close as possible to them, sticking to them.

 

Physically Demo has the type of European FIFe Siamese, but is less extreme: he has smaller and less high-set ears. Its genetic heritage is very interesting: in addition to the Austrian, Swiss and Eastern European lines brought by his mother, Demo continues the efforts of some Italian breeders who have imported cats from abroad to expand the gene pool of the breed in Italy, especially from France and Scandinavia.
